Zur Naturhermeneutik Falters und Hasses

Abstract

The following criticism deals with the article of Falter and Hasse over landscape photography. It shows that what is interpreted as a sign of a working devine power in nature, represents the traditional and conservative program of the German Heimatschutz. Furthermore the reasons for the fact are executed that the interpretation of the landscape photos introduced by Falter and Hasse ignores the sublime expressed obviously in these photos. From the faith in a devine power results besides a anti-democratic adjustment of the program Heimat, which is finally represented.
