Notas de Antropología de las Américas is an open-access journal committed to the free and equitable dissemination of knowledge in the field of anthropology and related disciplines. Our goal is to ensure that all published articles are accessible without restrictions to the academic community and the general public, promoting a publication model that prioritizes transparency, inclusion, and academic integrity. To this end, the journal adheres to open-access principles, ensuring that all its content is freely and permanently available under licensing terms that allow for responsible use and reuse. Likewise, authors retain their copyright while granting the journal the right of first publication, in accordance with international standards of research distribution and attribution. The editorial process follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring the rigor and scientific quality of each published manuscript, in alignment with international best practices in academic publishing ethics.
In line with its mission, Notas de Antropología de las Américas promotes an interdisciplinary and transnational approach.
