Aims and Scope
Notas de Antropología de las Américas is an Open access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Anthropology of the Americas at the University of Bonn. The journal seeks to foster critical and interdisciplinary dialogue on the social sciences and humanities of Latin America and the broader Americas.
Aims
The primary goal of the journal is to provide a platform for original and innovative research that explores the diverse cultures, histories, and contemporary challenges of the Americas. By bridging academic disciplines, Notas de Antropología de las Américas encourages the production of knowledge that is both locally grounded and globally relevant.
Through its open-access model, the journal aims to:

Scope
The journal welcomes submissions that address a wide range of topics and methodologies within the following fields:

Target Audience
The journal is intended for scholars, students, and practitioners in anthropology and related disciplines, as well as policymakers and individuals interested in the Americas. We also have a section called "Voices," where texts from activists, social groups or communities are welcome.
